Hi Tom

I'm writing with a long overdue thank you for the tour you arranged for us when we visited Dubrovnik at the end of October. Work has been very busy since our return home.

We had a most enjoyable tour – outstanding views of Dubrovnik and the ocean, the Konavale Valley and the mountains around it were stunning, Cavtat was very picturesque around a very placid cove, and the Old Town was amazing. The main street was as smooth as glass even though it was cobblestone. We enjoyed exploring the squares and side streets, and some of us found some great cafes to enjoy.

A special note - we all really enjoyed the guide services of Maro, he was exceptionally good and one of the best guides we’ve ever had. He told us all about past history of Dubrovnik and gave us an incredible insight into the more current events and what life there is like. It kept us all very interested in what he had to tell us.

Also, I want you to know how much we appreciated your thoughtfulness - first in providing the material for the lady with us who is deaf, and second, for your quick suggestion for all of us to ride in the bus and to cancel the car and driver we’d arranged with you. It was great for those two couples to be part of the group in the bus and to be able to hear first hand all the commentary Maro had for us. Doing this for us may have incurred a cost for you, and for that I am very sorry. These things that you did were terrific, and above and beyond normal expectations.

I want you to know that all of us on the tour think highly of Maro, you, and Tom’s Tours. I will be certain to recommend your tours to other cruisers on a website for cruisers that I visit a lot.

Thanks again for all the help you gave me in planning this tour. We hope to return to Dubrovnik and tour with you again because there's still so much to see.
